It could be related to the litter issue you posted about – so he’s avoiding using it. By the way, if he’s sneezing alot, he should get checked out by the vet to ensure he hasn’t got some kind of infection.

Ok…So he’s peeing where the box was? You can try attached the box to the condo wall. Here’s a really good way suggested on the forum once. Drill two holes in the back of the box then thread a zip tie thru it and loop together. Then you can clip the cable tie to the condo wall and easily remove it when you need to clean the box.

See how he goes with a different type of litter. Also, the size of the box might be an issue for him.

Jersey has some great suggestions! In addition, when you wipe up his pee, take a piece of the soaked paper towel and put it in the box. I don’t know if you put hay in the box, but I suggest also adding some hay in there along with some favorite munchies – like mint, parsley. Rabbits will pee and poo while they eat, and that’s the reason for the hay, but also for favorite munchies.

Yes I do Put hay in the box but not munchies. I will try that and attaching it to the cage will probably be efficient as well. I will keep you updated.

I do parsley as my munchie now for Oreo, I use to do carrot, or apple because he was the most interested in these, as they are his absolute favorite treats, next to rasins, but since they looked to close to poop to me, I decided not to do those, it took a good week, to week and half, but now he’s really good about using his box. He still gets a few stray poo’s here and there, and occassionally he will “over shoot” as I call it, but for the most part he’s really good now. Oliver I’m still working on, but he’s so young I’m not pushing it, I put his poo in the box when he goes outside, and clean up any other accidents promptly, and move on. He’s getting though, I’m seeing less, and less accidents, everyday! GOOD LUCK!!

Raisins are easy to keep for a long time in a container, and a couple are very satisfying without being a large amount of sugar. You could just put one or two in there, and when he does his business in his box, if you see him, give him one as a reward.
