What will her set-up be indoors?

Does she have a litter box now? Is she spayed?

Also for now I would take any bedding out of her space and put a litter box with rabbit safe litter in a corner and add hay on top of the litter. That will get you started – does she currently use one area now to poop and pee in?

Remember you may have to retrain her once she gets moved inside as well – very happy that you are doing this.

Should I wait until she gets more settled in?

i think you should move her inside first, esp. if she might be pregnant.  there is no point in allowing her to get “settled” outside and then disrupting her by moving her in then.  she will be less frightened inside b/c there are no predators like there are outside.  and  this way you can keep an eye on her.  put her in the pen with a litterbox with a layer of hay.  bunnies usually catch on pretty quickly, esp. if they are a bit older. spaying will definitely help, but many unspayed bunnies will get the idea too. i will say that urine tends to smell more when they are unaltered, so you have to be diligent about cleaning the box often (probably every other day.) if you put the pen on linoleum, it will be easy enough to clean up any accidents too.

read some info about littertraining, and show it to your mom.

if she is in fact pregnant, you will need to read about what you need to do…

Start by watching where she prefers to go to the bathroom and putting a little box in that spot, another thing that will help is placing stray poops and urine soaked paper towels into the box that way she will be more inclined to go where her own smell is. Litter training might be difficult to accomplish if she isn’t spayed. Oh also putting hay in the litter box will entice her to use it and help because buns like to “go” while they eat.

For names… hmmm.. I like Abigail or Marley if you like human names for pets if you want more of a “pet” name then I like Sugar (hehe or brown sugar considered she has some brown on her too) or Scout (sorry I’m a fan of To Kill a Mocking Bird) those are some ideas haha its okay if you don’t like any of them. It took me 3 weeks to name my bun!

O.K. since this was posted three times, I deleted one and am combining it down to one, and these are the responses from the other post and am deleting it so we can have a better conversation.
