My bunny has been great about using the litter box until about a week ago. Every time I clean it she goes nuts. First she’ll dig out the piece of newspaper on the bottom of it. If I don’t clip it to the side of her cage she’ll drag it to the other side and still pee in the corner where the box should be. She’ll also dig out some of the litter, and if I put hay on top she’ll pick it all out of the box. Right now I have it clipped to the side but she’s still trying to move it and digging lots of the litter out. With such a small layer of litter left her box has been getting stinky really quickly
She is spayed. She has free reign of my bedroom and always goes in the same corner of her cage, whether she’s moved the box or not. I just am sick of the box being stinky a few hours after I clean it since she digs out all the litter. I’ve also tried two different kinds, one much heavier, but it doesn’t matter.
Anyone have tips to get her to leave the box alone?
