I know rabbits should go by the natural light. But i also know they like to laze out and sleep through out the day. When its light outside during the day, should i keep the curtains open? or should i close them cause they like to sleep during the day?  If the curtains are open they do have dark places to hide. but i just dont know if its to bright for them during the day or not.  At night time i close the curtains and turn on their desk lamp.

I keep the curtains open all the way unless it’s really hot during the day and I want to avoid the extra heat from the sun beaming in. They have their little cardboard houses they can go if they prefer the darker spot for naps. At night I turn the light off but I leave a hallway light on so they get a bit of light in from that.

Yep, mine have the curtains open in their room during the day. They also like to have the light turned on in the evening.
