        Hello everyone
This is my first post, so I am sorry if it’s in the wrong section

But my rabbit Daisy, when she is eating her bum leans !!

I have a video of it but I am unable upload it here.
Please use the link below to see her.

          Firstly, she’s cute!
Second, great idea to capture this on video.

How old is Daisy? She gets around okay the rest of the time?

It could be she has some hind-end weakness. This is often attributed to E. Cuniculi infection. But I wonder if it some other condition in her spine. She is sort of bending around like a kidney shape. Definitely something to get checked out by a rabbit-knowledgeable vet.

Hi there The video really helps as I was having trouble picturing what you meant.

Is this a new behaviour or has she always done it? Is it only when she’s eating? Does her bum always lean to the same side?

It does look concerning, it could be hind end weakness as suggested, but it’s odd if only when eating. It almost looks like her stomach is pinched in, like it’s cramping in while she’s eating, but I’m really not sure. I agree with the suggestion of getting Daisy checked out by a rabbit savvy vet.

Hi Thank you both for posts

Daisy is just coming up to her first birthday.
She only really does the bendy thing when eats ! When she is hoping around or just sat she is straight !
Sometimes when cleaning herself she may lose balance but nothing to unusual.
Our vet seems to think it maybe something neurological !
