My bunny has always choose to spend many hours of relax time with her head directly under her water bottle, she has done this her whole life (shes one years old)… I was just wondering why she does it? or if its bad or may cause her to get sick eventually?

Maybe she is overheated? Do you give her ice bottles to snuggle against in the heat? If she gets wet and then cold, yes it could make her sick, but it depends on how warm your house is and if there are any drafts.
Merlin used to lay with his but under his drippy water bottle and it started worrying me when he got older (especially after he got sick one winter). I bought a small metal crock that hangs from the side of the cage and positioned it under the bottle to catch the drips instead of his butt. It was low enough that he could still drink from the bottle.

I have tried frozen water bottles in her cage but she did not want anything to do with it. My apartment stays cool and her ears never seem to be too warm. But it is still possible she could be warm. Its good to know that she is not the only bunny to do this

It’s possible that is just a comfortable spot for her and you are reading too much into this.

huh, I guess I never thought of it that way. It could be I guess. I wish she could talk and just tell me
                Thanks everyone.

Have you tried moving her water bottle to another place in her home? It’s probably just somewhere she likes to rest, bunnies lie in some pretty strange places sometimes x
