        Hey,

So as some of you know I have have a 8 year old cat Louis. He is a short haired tabby but he has lots and lots of hair, it’s really thick also. He is shedding really badly right now and I have been brushing him for at least 30 minutes every night, good thing he enjoys it. However I’m noticing he is suffering from hairballs. I’m finding them all over the place, it seems to be one every couple days. It looks as if he’s coughing up lots of hair and of course with that comes some regurgitated food and all that yummy stuff. I’m concerned because he never used to suffer from hairballs. I can start grooming him twice a day if need be but it doesn’t seem to help. Is there something any of you with cats know of that could help with this? I am thinking about making a vet visit just in case however I thought I’d ask because I trust everyones opinion and I don’t know of a site like BB for cats  Thanks in advance for all your help!

My vet just recommend some hair ball remedy gel/pudding/stuff in a tube that we got at a pet store. Put a glob on their paw, instead of making them eat it, and they licked it off their foot. Worked like a charm for my three

Hmmm I’m going to go online to a petstore and see if I can find something like this. I was hoping there would be a simple solution thanks! *fingers crossed*
