Went to petsmart today for hay and of course walked out with way more then just hay lol.  But they have a new Kaytee Timothy Plus Hay.  Three different kinds, with carrot, marigold, mint.

I got a bag, I think they would be fun, something different and encourage them to eat more hay.  But before I went ahead and gave it to them, i wanted to check and get opinions.

that sounds cool.  I am growing marigolds and didnt’ know they eat those til now.   Hmm maybe this will get Cottons interest in hay going.

Very nice! They remind me of the Oxbow Botanical Hay that is timothy with added dried herbs and flowers.

Has anyone tried it on their buns? What did they think? When I went in the store yesterday the kinds they carried were: Carrot, Cranberry, and Mango. Of course I’d love to try it! But I am concerned that possibly putting the flavoring in (especially of the fruit ones) may have added some sugars.. if anyone know anything or is super savvy at reading ingredient labels and see’s these please advise me!

I’ve actually tried it a few times and it could not last with my two rabbits. They love both the scent and overall mix of it.
