Has anyone purchased Kaytee apple Orchard sticks before? I would like to know people’s opinion on them. Do they seem as acceptable chew toys for rabbits? I don’t not think that they are treated wood. Although, the outer surface looks a little bit painted. But maybe that’s how that wood is like.

I’ve purchased these on several occasions. Obviously, they’re not as fresh as twigs straight from an apple tree but Alfie loves them and strips the bark off them happily!

Yep, it’s untreated wood – the bark is very thin, so it does have a painted look to it. Sometimes Luna destroys them in an hour, but some days she doesn’t touch them at all.

Ok that makes sense! Thank you guys! I wanted to make sure they we’re safe first. My bunny seems kind of iffy about them. He sniffs then be chins them but isn’t sure if he wants to chew them yet. But then might be because hes young and doesn’t have stronger teeth yet. He scraped off the bark. Thank you for the help!
