Kahlua!! YOU STINKER!!

So….I’ve been really really working with Kahlua so that she learns her name…Kokanee picked her’s up so quick and knows it soo well, but Kahlua’s a bit, umn, not bright So I’ve been making a point to really say her name alot when I’m talking to her.

Well last night I’m doing the ‘bedtime roundup” putting buns away and giving salad, and cleaning. I can’t find Kahlua anywhere so I call her “Ka-Loooooaaaa” …”STOMP” ….”Ka-Looooaaaa” ….”STOMP”

 

ROTFL oh my goodness it was hilarious!! Well now she knows her name I guess!! hahahaha what a stinker!

lol… she IS a stinker.  pretending like she’s not smart.  she just couldn’t help herself when she knew if was bedtime huh? 

i don’t have a night time routine that they participate in but i do say ‘night night’ to each of them & tell them it’s time to goto bed.  by that point they’re already in their ‘spots’.

Bunny bedtime at our house usually involves a good chase around the xpen to get Pippi into her carrier to return her to her cage. My daughter is still not comfortable holding her, so she prefers this method of ‘bunny roundup’. ^^
Me, I just scoop Mimzy up now, cuddle him into my arms, try to hypnotize him so I can check for an injuries or anything sticking to his fur and then he LEAPS from my arms into his cage (we haven’t worked out gentle landings yet *groan* ) and I must immediately provide a papaya tablet or some other yummy treat to nurse his bruised ego for so rudely messing with his dignity.
A few hours later though, he is all lovey dovey and giving me that begging look and scrabbling at his cage bars so that he can have his nighty-night Craisin. ^^ It’s too cute!

At about 10pm I go in and refill hay and water and give Edson a little bedtime treat and then lights out! I don’t have to lock him up anymore. I used to lock up the xpen door but now he’s so dang good I never have to. Then at 5:15am there he is waiting at the door to his room for his pellets! He is usually standing when I come down the hall. It’s too cute.

Kay runs away from me and wags her tail – “Catch me if you can!”

One night I said “Winston, Kay is going to eat all of the hay if you don’t get in there.” He instantly ran into the pen!
