        Hey Guys!
I wanted to share some money savers that some people have told me as well as I have come up with. Any others that you have I would love to hear!

        • as far as litter, you can use pine pellets marketed towards horses
        • you can get hay from farmers or feed stores in larger quantities for cheaper
        • bunnies love homemade toys, but you can always spoil them with ones from binkybunny.com 🙂
        • hay racks are great, but they don’t need to be too fancy, you can get them in the binkybunny store too
        • looking for food and water bowls? IKEA sells cheap ones meant for humans it’s called the oftast series ($0.79 each)
        • the dollar store is great for food and water bowls too, as well as cat and baby toys that you can use for buns
        • IKEA also sells fleece “throws” for $2 and they are gray
        • you can get cheap rugs at IKEA, Target, and Walmart for $10-30 (usually)

If you guys have any I missed, then I will definitely read through them. 😀

        Hope this helped!

Biggest cost saver I’ve found is a small local feed store near us. I can buy 25 lbs of Oxbow pellets for $30 and a bale of hay (~10-12 flakes) for $10. At Petco, 5 lb of pellets run for $15 and a flake-sized bag of hay is $20. This can add up to hundreds of dollars a year when you have multiple rabbits.

Also, cardboard boxes make great rabbit toys. Liquor stores and Natural Grocers stores both give away as many free boxes as you can take. Another good hidey house idea I’ve used is cat climbing toys – they are a $30-100 investment off the bat, but they’re made from solid pet-safe wood and last for years.

Oh yeah I’ve seen Victoria Raechel’s bunnies, Cleo and Lola love the cat tree! 😂 I live in a state that has a lot of livestock and I’m looking into hay farmers and feed stores near me. I definitely agree that pet stores overprice stuff and all that money adds up. I’m looking into multiple bunnies, so this is such a money saver! 😁
