I have been in transition from a place we were renting to a friend’s house waiting to close on a house we are looking to buy so am unable to check my mail and go online but I’ve been haveing Binkybunny withdrawls.hehe and had to pop in and WOW! I havn’t checked out the whole site yet but when I first opened the site I noticed the changes and it looks good, I hope by the time I’m able to get back into the binkybunny groove I’ll be uptodate withing a day 😀

Also, anyone have any suggestions for fostering rabbits? We want the house to be completely ready for after easter to take in some rabbits from our extremely HIGH kill shtler and want to make sure all our bases are covered, I’m planning on keeping our buns seperate but anything other than that?

(Just a warning I might not be able to reply back for a week 😛 Getting prepared for more binky bunny withdrawls)

Thanks! Good Luck with the whole house thing. I know that can be exciting and stressful all at the same time. We look forward to your return!

I think, like with any new bunny in the house, is to let them hang out in a pen or in smaller section of the house first – maybe block off with an xpen to let them settle in. Plus, this really helps with litter training.

And of course look for anything like cords that they would chew on. Check out the Bunny Proofing section to get her home prepared.

There are quite a few people here, including MooBunnay, who foster, so hopefully you will have some great tips soon. (note MooBunnay comes to the forum later in the week)

Wow congrats on buying a house!! I was worried about our move with Kokanee but she did pretty good! I sent her to my ‘bunny sitter’s’ house during the move so she wouldn’t see me packing and get upset, and I didn’t let her out of her cage in the new house for two days, just so she could get used to things.

Thanks for the 2 day wait tip, I’ll have to do that. I know whenwe first brought Mr.B home he stayed in his cage even thhough the door was open (area bunny proofed) but then decided to “greet” us the next day.
