just need to vent

I have been having one heck of a summer … And I am kinda tired of bottling it up. I am not usually one to spew my business all over … But I think this time my boyfriend just isn’t enough … 

We found out a few months ago that my mom needs to have sinus surgery because she has a deviated septum due to a broken nose as a kid, then we found out she needs a different surgery for a personal matter … and now … They found a lump during her mammogram , they think its nothing but she has a biopsy next week. 

my little sister broke off her 5 year relationship with the wedding date set. 

And my baby sister got bit in the face by my dogs brother last night because she just isn’t learning to respect animals. I know this dog … she pushed him to his breaking point. And he still did not want to harm her. He barely scratched her. 

Plus my own dog may need knee surgery, its not sounding like he will need it anytime soon, he has very milk luxating patellas, the vet said only worry if he starts limping, then we will discuss surgery. 

I am the older sister of 4 little girls … I call them little, they are 10-22 though lol. 

My pets are what is keeping me sane right now … Even with all their quirkiness, even with the fact my Ry may need surgery. 

On the bright side … All my pets are healthy, The new guy is going for an exam to be sure, but even with my dog possibly needing surgery the vet was very happy with this health and weight.

BB is a pretty good place for venting frustrations, so vent away.

It sounds like you have a lot of stuff coming at the same time. It seems like life is just that way sometimes. You will go for awhile with not much to deal with and then a bunch of bad things will happen in a short period of time. I’m sorry to hear about your mom and I hope things go well.

What you said about your youngest sister reminds me of how my niece was when she was younger. She thought it was funny when the dog growled at her and she just would not stop. She was just asking to get bitten. =\

I think she doesn’t understand the warnings and why you should take them seriously .
It almost seems to be built in to some kids that they just dont get it. I have one at work too.

My life likes to bunch things together. This isn’t the worst bunch we have had though . In 6 weeks we once lost my uncle, found out mom was pregnant and my sister passed as well. But now that I am older and further from all my family it’s harder.

My motto??? When $*&! happens, it happens! I learned not to fight it, just flow with it. The punches hurt less when you don’t flinch. And NEVER say it can’t get any worse, cause it will! But I do have something positive to say… when it starts getting better, it feels amazing!
It took me forever to understand and work this out and I swear by it. And when your so down it only takes the littlest thing to go right or your way to see the light at the end of tunnel again. I’m not suggesting for one minute your trauma or losses are anything to take lightly, but it will get better, you just don’t know when? sadly…

Moxie said it perfectly – hang in there! And as LBJ stated… there is no better place to vent than BB! Take care.

I am not new to going through things. Or anything really. I just wanted to vent.

The only thing that’s new right now is that its my mom. Usually its me in sucky positions or hurt. And that’s easy to handle.

Life can always get worse. My sisters are safe, the littlest wasn’t seriously hurt by the dog , and if my mom has anything it was caught early… I know all this. But I am the oldest … Its my job to worry about everyone. And comfort them when something is wrong, including mom.

I have been focusing on just spending time with who I can. Mostly thats my dog lol. And my bun boys. Being off work for the next week is nice. I can just relax and not worry about 5 screaming, grumpy kids. as much as i love the kids and my job, its nice to just be able to spend some time focusing on me and my life.

Tenzin and my new boy are taking turns in the hall ( The safest place for them to play) , and Ry I have been working on finding exercises to help his legs.

Yay … Apparently the stress got the best of me, I am sick. At first I thought it was sinuses but that doesn’t take away my sense of taste.

Well we got moms test results back. Its totally benign. Its a calcium deposit. I had them as a baby, so I am guessing its hereditary.

Yeah it definitely helps. Now I just have the typical things to worry about.

My sisters are fine. My dog is acting fine.

I am just planning for long term complications at this point.
