I just (almost) finished my outdoor area… it is elevated off the ground about 3 feet, so predators couldn’t attack the little bunnies inside. It is about a 1 1/2 wide, and about 5 or 6 feet long, complete with a built-in ‘bunny cave’.
We got the cage a while ago, but I never put my bunnies in it because it looked scary. I didn’t make the cage, but someone gave it to us because it was not in use. What I did was put stuff in it! I was pretty proud of myself- it had hay, hanging cucumber slice and carrot, fresh grass, sunflower seeds, a paper bag, a toy, water bottle, piece of wood to rest on, frozen water bottle (it was HOT), and something else, I think. I wanted to put more toys in it but Marvin ate them.
(I am ordering more from binkybunny.com, though!)
So I think that it was pretty good-ly (?) set up… anything else I should add that they need or would want? I just want being out there to be something they REALLY look forward to, because it would be fun to make them happy! So, any suggestions?
