I was able to watch the video you shared, Ellie. Those big brown eyes….how do you get anything done with Breintje around?? I love that his fur makes it look like he has a five o’clock shadow but he has that little baby face.

Haha! No worries, I didn’t click them so don’t know where they would have taken me. I’m familiar enough with those type thinks that try confuse you to click them instead of the intended target.

Here is Maggie – I just adopted her today. She needs daily combing though, which the RSPCA started getting her used to – so here is when I got her out 10 minutes ago for her first session with me. I kept it short because it is all so different for her.

When I put her back in the study, Terry sprinted up to her and started grooming her. How do I get so lucky with rabbits pretty much insta-bonding? 😮

Here is a photo from an earlier grooming session when I discovered he had done a flying leap off the study desk to get in with her. -sigh-

Our local small critter rescue had an opening celebration this weekend and I got AJ and Almond blankets. AJ was too busy eating to bother shaking hers off.

Aww I love that bunicorns are a thing!!

I feel like when all of Maggie’s fur grows back she will make a good bunicorn!

In the meantime here is a photo of the insta-bonded pair sharing a lady and the tramp moment but with kale.

And one of them how I found them this morning – except they were asleep when I first walked in.

I caught a picture of the one eared bun that lives in my parents’ yard! He’s a scruffy looking little guy but he came pretty close, hung around, ate some dandelions and had a good stretch before taking off.

Almond also approves of the new hiding place. I swear Ikea owns my soul.

The wild bunny is living in my yard. There are 3 of them, two runs when they see me and my dog, but one always keeps eating grass until were really close. I can’t say for sure it’s always the same bun, but I think it is.

Ryn: What an alarmingly cute one-eared wild bun =) And that box is so clever.

My camera is terrible quality(sorry), but Im not entirely sure I own 2 rabbits as much as a pair of muppet like creatures.
They still arent bonded at all but they are happy to play nice when we are all in bed (tooth purrs and grooms) 
So you know, they totally can get along they just chose not to…

Q8 – Oh I know how lucky I am! Terry was chosen by my previous rabbit Ogg at a meet and greet. They also bonded in less than 24 hours. It must be Terry! 

I definitely do not spoil my rabbits! 

A few weeks ago at a garage sale around the corner from me I found this muffin tray really cheap. Thought it would make a fun treat trey and got it out tonight. I put chopped kale, grated carrot, banana, and apple in the pans. That’s all their treats for the day in there! They had lots of fun, but Maggie’s face was too big to reach the bottom bits of carrot so she tried to tip it. But Terry was sitting on it to hog the banana. 

I came in again a few minutes later to find Maggie’s nose like this! I think someone smooshed her nose into the food to get the last bits!

Peep isnt immune to hump day…sinking into a comfy bed 

This has probably been the best day we’ve had in over a week in regard to bonding. Despite starting with fights theyve been sharing food , lounging, binkying, doing some zoomies and Peep even went whole dramatic flop. They were actually comfy enough to fall asleep in the same room!!

Regarding the muffin tin – I figured once they got used to the idea I could cover some of them, put toys in as well, etc, to make it trickier and more interesting. Or put little paper cupcake things in and put the food in that so they can pull them out.

Here is last night’s photo. I needed to put them to bed, and they were cuddled together on the window sill. I wasn’t sure who to pick up first, so I picked them both up at once. They didn’t even bat an eye lid, as if being picked up together was a normal thing. Putting them down was a bit trickier – Terry has a new trick of climbing up my chest when he doesn’t want to be put down!

Dface – aww, they are so cute! What an adorable flop! Looks like they are getting more comfortable with each other.

What an amazing love story Dface! Normally bonding seems to include flying fur and pee everywhere. I hope they’ll continue to be sweet to eachother, they look so happy

Talking about cuddles: Breintje often has these moments where he notices us cuddling, and suddenly pops up next to us to ask for a cuddle as well. I was sitting at my desk, and Bas was hugging me from behind. Suddenly Breintje was there too, eager for cuddles. We call it a cuddlepile, he simply needs to be a part of that.

Ellie, Breintje is so cute. Apollo is a bit like that at times. If I’m using my laptop at the desk in their playpen, often he’ll come up next to my legs, and if I don’t notice him he’ll stretch up and put his paws on my legs, it’s so stinking cute. Then of course I waste at least 15 minutes petting him

Bought a cheap pet vacuum for the dog. She didn’t like it (despite the fact that it is weak and essentially useless). Turns out Terry likes it, and it sort of works on him. I cuddled him and vacuumed him, then tried to put him down and he kicked up a stink so I kept vacuuming him on top of the scratch post. Apparently even head vacuums are acceptable (and even demanded). I was not holding him down or making him stay – he knows he can get off that scratch post any time and when he was done being vacuumed he did.

I also created them an instagram account and started following the Binnky Bunny account.

I fear that he fears this exact situation, because he attacks vacuum cleaners with a fierce attitude. It’s hilarious to see Bas clean the rug, with Breintje pouncing upon the vacuum cleaner’s head all the time, nipping away at it.

I need help.. My rabbit run away.. I don’t know how to post things publicly.. I’ve tried but i don’t know if I did.. I’ve looked for him everywhere.. I’ve had him for six years.. They’re dogs everywhere.. It’s dark.. I’m panicking..
