Hi so my 4 month old rabbit Judy who I got a week ago isn’t the most active, and I put out her veggies around an hour ago and there still there, I also cleaned out her liter box and put her fresh hay out and pellets and she also hasn’t touched them, just wondering if anyone thinks I should be worried.

Is she normally enthusiastic for these things? You have only had her a week, so it makes me wonder if she is waiting until she feels more secure (i.e. there isn’t anyone around) before she eats. Since it has only been an hour, I wouldn’t worry just yet.

She’s never been overly enthusiastic about food since I got her, she usually takes a while to do stuff even to come out of her hidey house, since I posted she’s eaten all veggies and she’s pooped like 6 poops which all look healthy, i actually wonder if she dosnt do alot of stuff while I’m sleeping like eat, drink and run around, poop and pee more

Sometimes new, shy buns don’t like being watched too closely (as prey animals). I’m glad she finally ate though! I think as she gets more comfortable she’ll prob start eating better, but for now I would try not to hover too much.

At 4 months she’s also young and veggies are pretty new to her, so be sure not to introduce too many new foods at once.

Thank you guys..yeah I’m only introducing new veggies slowly to her, yeah she eats every day but she seems to only eat a little of everything, today for the first time I had her downstairs for a couple of hours and she did pretty good she looked around a but, didn’t eat anything but she even Binkied once.
