So, I love Halloween, and it seems like the only time of year where I have any artistic talent… in pumpkin carving!

This year, I have no ideas of what to make. A co-worker suggested Darth Vader, so I might do that for him, but otherwise I don’t know!

Let me know if you have any ideas!

Here’s some examples of ones I made in the past for reference of what I can do:

        Eddie (Iron Maiden):

        Jack Skellington:

        Frankenweenie:

Batman, Frankenweenie, Edward Scissorhands, and Sally (Tim Burton movie themed)

This year I’m doing the logo from my city’s baseball team, king tut, something pirate-y, something with a cat, and a dragon eye I think that’s it, lol.

Do you belong to any of the pumpkin carving sites? Lots of great patterns on those.

            Wow…very cool!

Remember the kiddie-book Bunnicula? About the vampire bunny (he sucked vegetable juice, not blood, for those of you who’ve never heard of it)? Somebody with more talent than me should design a really evil-looking Bunnicula pumpkin. Big fangs and devil-horn ears!

                You mean like this?

Not all that evil looking though.

I also like this one — is it a duck, or a rabbit?

I’m going to have Mike try and attempt this!

Which looks like this on the pumpkin   I’m not sure how well it will come out but we’ll give a go

Haha, that vampire bun one is interesting!

I will definitely post whatever I make.

Today I was thinking about wearing a female Freddy Krueger outfit (striped sweater as a dress with fedora and the bladed hand) as my costume. If I decide to do that, I might make horror-movie-themed pumpkins. We’ll see.
