I got her back last nite and today I made vet appmnt. and vet doesnt’ think is a problem was a too rich in calcium problem however wants me to collect urine to be on safe side. yeah uh duh I didn’t bring a urine sample how stupid. however I did not see sludge anymore at all. vet suggest to give more of timothy or other type of hay even tho she is so young cuz apparantly if having a problem with calcium rich foods may not need all that alfalfa. so today she has timothy  and blue fescoe she is ahppy to be home too. she was all glad to see me. won’t do that again. and we put her in livingroom kitchen spot and it perfect. duh almost lost my bun over this and all I had to do was move her. now we can maneuver thru the house comfortably. silly humans I feel much better now too. I was used to all the barricades but hubby was driving him nuts and was rough trying to put m y laundry away and go to the bathroom. the lady at the pet store got to see her too. this was her fav bun. I should bring some pics next time too. Itty Bitty Feda is really active I think Cotton actually missed her. even tho he is upset she is here he I think likes knowing 1 of his kind is in the house somewhere. weird aren’t they. she is a eating her pellets and gained a little weight I have the mix of alfalfa and timothy pellets in there. now here she sits by me and my computer on one side and cotton on the other now i like that. OH she is sitting here cleaning herself. that lady who had her for the night never made  a vet appmnt. thats ok I got her now. she is my responsibility. I felt bad dumping her off like that. awe she has her ear now trying to clean that short little ear they have. I am all gushing over adn cotton got spoilt too and had his brushing his little pet position there he was happy to get attention too.

Oh wow, bunnytowne, I am surprised to see this post. I thought Feda was secure in a new home? What happened?
I have to say, I am glad she is back with you too, but are you sure you’re going to be okay with this? Maybe get extra rest for your back, I sure know how a bad back can ruin one’s day! >.<
Give both Feda and Cotton extra noserubs from me and my bunnies. I am glad to see they are reunited.

If she’s on alfalfa pellets it’s very possible that is the calcium-rich problem. Those are very high in calcium and it will help alot if you can get her on the timmy pellets.

It’s hard to get a good clean urine sample for the vet so don’t feel bad about that – it’s almost easier for the vet to get this. The best way to try to get an uncontaminated speciman is put her in a clean carrier with no towels, etc…to see if you can get a sample.

well the daughter’s daughter got scared of her when she nipped her so I don’t mind having her back being in almost the same room  I normally clean the area she is in so that helps a lot. gee sure is late in the game to think of this tho. also I don’t have to clean litterboxes and newspaper every single day. like I have been doing. I can sweep or whip out that carry vac with the hose and swoop it up all in 1 room I don’t have to try and clean the stray hay under the bed all that crawling around on the floor and twisting my back to look under was hard. am feeling better today last nite adn day b4 were horrible. and being this area she is in now  is where I normally clean anyway it isn’t like a whole new room with xpen and maneuvering around that and under the bed etc. and the bathroom so we got it figured out now. and about the advice on the timmy pellets yes great idea. will do. she is snoozing now. I took her to cotton yes in his territory tho and he wasn’t very happy I was holding her in my lap and kept him from bitin her and when I got up to walk off he nipped my leg to show his dissaproval ahaaa lol. crazy isnt’ it. what doesn’t help is sitting at this computer a lot too. hours can pass and next thing I know phew. back pain. I told hubby I would liek an angora but in teh far far future as an only rabbit in about 15 years from now but depends on my health and please dont’ get me another rabbit gosh noooooo.        I will clean the bowls and refresh all that daily and like every 3 day clean and wash the litterboxes and perhaps change the papers once a day depends but this should make a big diff. washing those litterboxes etc. and her new location. she will be getting more attention in here too. and seeing us a lot more. all this could have been solved in the first place if we had just done this. instead of trying to put the plywood to barricade under the bed etc. that hurt my back bad. hubby did help put it away tho. I am learning to ask for help and he is very willing and understanding.  ohh getting dark here I bet having a pretty sunset at the river. today I am staying inside taking those stairs as little as possible cuz ohhh to many trips on them and that affects me too. 3 x a day is about it for me on them things. but I had to take this low income or they could throw me off the list for 1 yr. also where she is I can throw towels over her and put a box on her cage real quick if housing comes next year during inspections lol. makes it easy to hide her. and nooooooooo I am not wanting a 3rd bun noooooooo. I told hubby nooooooo. I appreciate him getting her for me but thats enuf he agrees. lol. I think he was sad to see her go too.   am impressed to be doing this good cuz I rode her in my 3 wheel bike basket to the vet. yes I would have to leave the litterbox dry to get a sample. yes she must have been stressed out on that trip too. must have been a somewhat rough ride. I know in that shopping cart taking her to pet store was real hard on her I carried her. and the lady was overjoyed to see her. ok enuf about me.

*giggles* Oh I wish my vet were close enough to bicycle my bunnies there. Of course, that would kill me, I can’t even walk all the way down the street without gasping these days. But I am picturing you on that bike with little bun in the basket…lolz. That is a cute mental image!

                    bunnytowne,
I’m so glad you announced it in a new post. I replied to you when I read it first in your post about Cotton Taking a Trip. (I didn’t say there, but that was so cute! I was always afraid to take my bunny anywhere but my parent’s house or the vets, or the vacation babysitter friend’s house) so am really interested in all the ways you take them out. Your new setup for Itty Bitty Feda sounds like it will work just fine. Get some rest tonight and relax.

Oh that’s great you got her back and figured out a more manageable arrangement. Sweet little thing must have missed her mom!

I’m glad Itty Bitty is getting better.

Oh well, Cotton …. your lil friend is back for good lol.
