  Oi…So it started snowing in Edmonton on Friday… (last weekend we hit 23 degrees above, probably 72-74 F-it was beautiful)…and I would wager our accumulation now is over a foot of snow, in some areas worse by the blowing wind. It’s ten below and we are expecting five more cm’s today alone. Also the weather guy said we won’t expect warm spring temps until May….*SIGH*

  We have been having a cold windy spell in California too. Not nearly as cold as Canada but for us Californians it’s cold!!!!It’s the wind that’s been so bad. But then again I hate it when it’s so hot too. Then I’ll worry about the bun.

  Our new dog loves the snow! We took some video of her out in it earlier. And yes all that snow there is what’s fallen this weekend.

  Oh my it’s getting cold here too and one day it is 80 degrees F and the next it is snowing!!!! Ahh, spring time in the Rockies!!!

  ooo brrr! it’s gotten very cold here in the past few days too – but fortunately not THAT cold! tell those bunnies to lay on mommy’s feet to help keep ya warm.

  i heard about the snow out west… oh man that sucks. we’re having the opposite weather here right now. 2 weeks ago we had 5 foot high snow banks along the dirveway and then in a span of 24 hrs it was all gone & we’ve had 20+deg weather (70’s) ever since. bizzare. i’m not complaining… i take what i can get… but i know we’re not out of the woods yet.

  Can someone tell me what sense it makes to sand on top of a foot of snow? I’m used to Winnipeg – plow and then sand. But here we’re lucky if they do either, particularly on the side streets. And on some of the more major streets they’ve just sanded and not plowed, which means that you still have zero traction because you’re trying to drive through a foot of mush. Although I did see *5* plows doing one roundabout this morning.

  Ohhh Scooter and Annett don’t get me started on how terribly they keep up our roads here!! LOL OK, I am…Gosh let people drive in it for eight days then the sun comes out and it starts to melt then they plow with our tax dollars!!
  
  Your going to love Winnipeg-they know how to properly take care of roads!! They even (at least where my grandfather lives) send a truck around to take the snow out of your driveway that got pushed in there from plowing!! In Edmonton they don’t even plow residential roads-and when they do, if it ends up in your driveway-your problem!!
  
  Thank goodness it’s starting to melt!!! Your dog is sooo gorgeous I’m so glad you got him!! He’s looks soo happy!
