  Hi I just noticed today my little bunny alto has a bald spot developing on his back foot. He has an appt next week at the vet, but until then I am wondering what to do to treat this
  
  How worried should I be about this? We have hardwood floors in the house but his room is mostly carpeted. I read that carpets can be abrasive so I am getting some fleece blankets soon. The other rooms he likes to branch out in our hardwood. Should I put blankets down out there when he’s out in the living room? He is only one year old, I really want him to live a long life and be here with me.

  Apologies for not getting a rapid response after your posting, but just mentioning that I agree at this point, it seems like a naturally-occurring callous to keep an eye on generally.
