[caption id="attachment_1995027" align="alignnone" width="225"]One of my lops has this red bump at the end of a vein in her ear. It's been 2 weeks and hasn't changed at all and she doesn't mind me touching it as long as I'm not pressing on it. Is this normal? Just want to make sure it’s benign[/caption]

It looks like a small bleeding inside the ear? It doesn’t look bad.

Did his ear get pinched? It does look like a broken blood vessel in the ear.

I suppose it could’ve been pinched, she is quite the curious explorer around the house. I first noticed it a couple weeks ago, would it still be there if it’s a broken blood vessel? Thanks for the reply

If its inside the ear tissue, i e not on the surface of the skin, I still think it could be a hematoma after a broken blood vessel. Does she seem bothered by it? It doesnt look alarming, but obviously keep an eye.

It can take awhile for those to heal. I agree that it’s probably best to keep an eye to make sure it doesn’t get worse.
