Hi! I have a 2 months old male german lop. He likes to be pet and usually when I pet him with one hand he licks the other but sometimes he stops licking and bites me and then starts licking again. I don’t know if this is aggression, those bites don’t even hurt. I don’t know if he wants to hurt me or it is something else. What should I do?

Hm, it sounds like maybe he wants you to “groom” him back, by petting his head. His nips are to get your attention

If it doesn’t hurt it’s probably not aggression. Bunnies nip as a form of communication, so like Sadie said it could either be him trying to tell you he wants you to groom him back, or it could just be part of his grooming session. If you look at how bunnies groom themselves, they sometimes “nip” or chew at their own fur while licking, so it could just be him trying to do the same to you :p

Thank you! My other bunny never did this so I didn’t understand what it was. I’m glad it is not aggression ?
