I think I’ve mostly heard in about the 8 year range as being average for a house rabbit. I sure hope it’s at least that, our Reno is 6 and she just had 2 surgeries a week apart.

The fact that Babs is spayed is a huge plus in her favor!  Spayed rabbits have a much better chance of living longer than unspayed bunnies due to uterine cancer.

That is why it is important to find out why Babs has an abcess- culture test or x-rays for dental problems- as health issues- chronic infections, etc can shorten a bunnies life.

i get paid soon XD so then i can take her in for the tests she needs and if it is what i think, i shal get baytrill. im keeping controll of her abcess, putting a warm compress on her abcese draining it so it doesnt fill back up. (vet said to do).
