          Hi there and welcome.

It sounds like your rabbit needs to see an emergency vet asap.

When you have a rabbit, you need to make sure that you have a regular vet and an emergency vet set up. Here is a site that is helpful in locating a vet: http://www.rabbit.org/vets/vets.html

When you get a new rabbit, a wellness exam is essential. Also, where did you get this rabbit? The person that you got her from needs to be warned that this is happening (if anything does happen) so that they know what to look out for.

At home remedies are very risky and not recommended, as rabbits are very fragile and need specialized vet care.

Is your rabbit currently eating anything?
Rabbits tend to be quite lazy during the day, and also if you just got her, she maybe quite skittish and scared of you – which is 100% normal.

Welcome! Your bunnies need unlimited timothy hay or other suitable hay…alfalfa, oat hay, orchard grass just to name a few. Alfalfa is good for baby and young bunnies. What brand of rabbit pellets are you feeding your bunnies? They need to have lots of clean fresh water too.

Also, if you haven’t already, read the BUNNY INFO on the Binkybunny.com homepage near the top, especially pertaining to DIET. As much hay as they can eat and good pellets and clean water are needed to keep your bunny’s system moving properly. Mushy poop can be a sign of illness so take your bunny to a good rabbit vet to get the poop tested and learn how to feed and take care of your bunny. Beware of “home remedies” because these can often be poor advice.

If your bunny is a baby or young teenager, it is possible he/she may have an intestinal parasite which is causing the mushy poop and lethargic behavior. This can be fatal as you know. The bunny needs vet care as soon as possible.

How is your bunny doing? Did you bring her to a rabbit-saavy vet yet and if so, what did he/she say? Are you feeding your bunnies hay?

                    How’s it going?

Very young bunnies can have issues adjusting to new foods and new environments and if they have an existing condition it can act quickly to make them very sick. She definitely needs to see a vet ASAP and things like this in baby bunnies can deteriorate quickly.
