        Okay,

There are many annoy moths in my apartment. I cannot kill them because I’m vegan.

I researched online a lot to find method to make them stay away from my apartment.

Lavender is natural way to make moths go away.

I remembered that I looked up somewhere that mentioned lavender is natural way to make wild rabbits go away because of strong oder smell. A lot people used lavender to protect their gardens from deer and rabbits.

I’m thinking to get two lavender flowers from my local farm. They will not be in pet room. Can rabbits smell lavender flowers from another room? I don’t want them to feel bothered from flowers.

I live in one bedroom apartment. I’ll put one in living room and another one in kitchen. Kitchen is only few feet away from pet room.

my rabbits regularly eat lavender that i grow. it is safe for all but pregnant does. there is a nice list of edible flowers, but it is on another forum, and i don’t know how this forum would feel about me posting the link. if it’s ok, i will gladly share.

@mossling-thanks for asking! I don’t see why not, but I passed it on to the other leaders to double check.

@ Taurus -I really wouldn’t think that lavendar would affect an insect that is already inside your house. Planting lavendar in the garden may very well keep them out of your garden, but I doubt having lavendar in the house will cause the moths to fly outside (and how?) or die…I would say you might have to prop open a window and chase them out-else cite them for tresspassing and smack ’em with newspaper

Oh, my brain is too tired to think or realize that. I had a long day.

                Thanks!

Sorry if this is short as I’m answering this via my android phone but it is fine to link to another forum’s post that you feel has an answer that can be helpful. We can learn from each other

ICK!  I had a bad experience with moths when I was younger.  I am completely afraid of them now.

I would take spiders over a moth anyday.

I love seeing spiders around my house from time to time. I especially like that they deal with the moths.

lol sorry! I didn’t mean to be rude or go against wishes. I was mostly trying to light heartedly joke and also as a fellow veggie-to say that although I woudn’t never harm a bug, when they are in my house ‘game on’ -I won’t have flies bugging the bunnies and if they sneak in here they will be smacked by a vegetarian like you wouldn’t belive XD
