Remy LOVES broccoli and I have never noticed any digestive differences or gas after he eats it… does that mean it’s okay for him?  Some things I ready say it’s okay and healthy for bunnies, and other things say that it causes gas.

        What do you guys think?

I think like any vegetable there is the possibility that it could cause gas. But if Remy has no problems eating it, it’s very healthy and nutritious and an acceptable green for rabbits – he can eat the leaves and stems as well.

I usually just give him the stems.  He goes *wild* for them.  He can down a broccoli stem piece that’s half the size of his head in about a minute…

He also adores basil, mint and parsley, which I grow in pots.

What are your thoughts on oregano or rosemary?  I would think rosemary might not be so good… but I dunno.  Haven’t tried it yet.

I’m not sure that they would even eat those – there isn’t too much as far as leaves on either. I don’t think they would be harmful but I doubt they would like them.

My rabbits like arugula though. Also dill. I have a feeling if he likes the basil and mint he may like those as well. My rabbits love herbs.

              He may also like cilantro.

I will try those! I love growing herbs, so it works out well. Plus, having herbs in hand when I call him gets him into the habit of responding to his name
