I’m going to be remaking my baby bunny’s cage, & with her new cage, the cage bars are going to be wide enough apart for her to chew on & she will NOT stop chewing on cage bars if she’s able to get her teeth on it.So I was thinking about using “bitter apple” for dogs but someone else suggested to use Bitter Yuck instead because some rabbits like the bitter apple.

Either way; are either of these safe for rabbits if they do happen to lick it?

I’m not familiar with the Bitter Yuck. I have used Bitter Apple before and… let’s just say it wasn’t much of a deterrent. As far as I know, the Bitter Apple is safe. I assume the Bitter Yuck is as well, but I don’t know what the ingredients are.

Ya, I’m feeling like I’ll have those bunnies that like the bitter apple as well xD They already all have liked vinegar so far, & I know vinegar was suggested once. I think lemon or lime is another option? I haven’t tried that yet but I don’t have much faith in that either lol. I’ll see if I can find the bitter yuck somewhere & read ingredients
