So we took Sandy on a few dates yesterday and she picked out Sheldon (although at the moment I’m thinking what did I get myself into?!….I’ll post my bonding session in a min.). She did really good with him and there was no fighting (ha!). The lady put another bun in named Benny and she did not like him from the start, she bit his butt and he was scared of her. Sheldon’s name was Spanky but we weren’t crazy over that name so we decided on Sheldon (from Big Bang Theory). He’s a 5 1/2 year old mini rex. He’s so soft and he’s very vocal! He made a noise last night that I never heard before so I’ll have to listen again because I can’t describe it. I haven’t had an up earred rabbit in a long time (I still have a soft spot for lops though), so it’s neat seeing how much different he is. The shelter where we got him was so nice and she spent an hour making sure they would be ok….well at the shelter they were, at home not so much. We even got a little care package with a blanket, toy, food, and cookie mix to make for them. If need be they do offer bunny bonding.
