Hello All.
I only joined here a couple of days ago but already I’m a bit obsessed so I thought I’d introduce myself and my bunny Charlie. We live in Australia (Canberra) and I’m a student/part-timer so I get to spend a lot of time with Charlie. I was incredibly lucky with his personality because he is so affectionate towards me, loves me endlessly and doesn’t scratch me too much when I pick him up (Ok I lie, I wear more protective clothing nowadays).
His teenage months were hell so we got him neutered at about 6months and he loved me decidedly less for a few months cause he can really hold a grudge. I was really sorry that he stopped circling me and grunting once he was fixed because that was adorable but he’s just started doing it again last week when I wake up, presumably because I feed him.
He’s a smart cookie so I’ve started to teach him some tricks and the link below is of him learning to jump through a hoop. The discussions about clicker training are really interesting and I think I’m really interested in trying it out.

Welcome! Another Australian to join the board – that’s great. I’ve been taught all the Aussie slang by a couple of the other Aussies here, so I should be able to communicate properly.
Plus, I am an extreme night-owl and seem to be around when you all are posting. Oh my, Charlie is absolutely adorable!!! I love love love his markings! He looks like a puppy! Perfect name for him too.
That video was great! You could really tell he was paying attention – so alert! Quite amazing actually.
Teenage bunny months are pure hell. I’m glad you survived them. Don’t worry though, his mating ritual of circling may have been curtailed, but the benefits (less smelly urine, less/no spraying, less annoying relentless behaviors, etc etc) should balance it all out.
Would love to see more videos and pictures!
