        Im making my rabbits cardboard hidey houses. My boxes have some ink printed on them and I’m wondering if it’s okay to use them if I peel the top layer off that has the ink on it. Here’s what it looks like after it’s peeled off. I wanna know if that gets rid of the ink completely or if the box is tainted! Thanks lol.

          I would think it’s OK if you peel off the portion that has ink. Similar to ink on a piece of paper, the ink is only printed on the surface layer, so as long as that’s gone, it should be fine! That being said, if a little bit is ingested, it’s usually not that big of a deal, health-wise.

            Thank you! I just want to make sure my bunnies are safe and I don’t want to do anything that could harm them. I’m picking them up from the animal rescue in a few weeks and it’s my first time taking care of rabbits. 🙂 I’m so excited.

                    Something fun might be adding fleece strips as a shredded curtain, its hard to explain what I mean, but it might be fun for your buns to run back and forth.

                      @Louiethebunny do you mean like a wooden frame with pieces of fleece hanging down?

                          @rabbitlover908 I do so much research online about rabbits that my eyes get sore lol. Maybe it’s my anxiety but I want to make sure I take care of them the best I can and keep them away from danger. I hope you can get a bunny in the future. 🙂

                          @Louiethebunny
                          That’s a good idea, I could put that on top of the hidey houses or cardboard boxes for playtime!
