I was sweeping the boys’ room yesterday. I usually have Asriel out when I do this because it helps bring him out of his shell more. He’ll usually chase the broom and run around my feet as I work. He’ll also sit in the pile of abandoned hay and poo I’ve swept up. If he’s feeling really facetious, he’ll sit in the dustpan and watch me. Here’s a video of yesterday’s sweeping.

Note: No bunny was harmed in the making of this video… only his pride

Hilarious! Hahahaha!!! Oh goodness that is so adorable!!! My bun will stare at me and thump his feet when I try to take away his litterbox to clean it.

I love this video! So expressive.

The bane of my existence is when Wick jumps into the litter box while I’m cleaning it, so the screen is off and he just lands right into the small granule litter. I have to pick him up, hold him there while I wipe his feet (top 5 least favorite things for him), and send him on his way. It’s devastating when he tracks it everywhere, like how he did before I started using litter screens. Oy vey.

                hahahahaha oh my!

This is the classic “bunny got more than they bargained for” XD Ophelia used to flip herself over backwards when trying to get treats out of the baby stacking cups. Eventually she learned that she really didn’t have to use so much force to separate the cups, but it was quite entertaining to see her launch herself so dramatically over a darn piece of fruit lol

hahahaha poor buns. I don’t think they realize how much force their little bodies actually can produce. Half the fun of having bunnies is honestly watching them interact with their environment. There multiple times a day I get frustrated at them for something, but then 5 seconds later I’m laughing so hard about whatever it is. Their little faces certainly don’t help

Silly muppet ! My buns attack the dust pan and broom also.

Hahaha, love it! It seems this is very typical bunny behaviour: they have to interfere with everything. I haz opinjon!
Breintje often attacks the vacuum or plants his furry butt straight into the dust pan and won’t budge. Helpful…

Ellie that’s too funny! Both of my boys do that too! Or they sit in my pile up sweepings and stare at me like no, this is my pile, you can’t haz it.

When I use a little mini dust pan and broom in Bindi’s cage, he used to always growl at it. I usually only clean his condo when he’s out now. But Sterling is scared of the broom, when I sweep in the rabbit room, he runs into his house. But he’s not scared of the dust buster. Weird…

Well of course he’s mad! He spent all that time decorating your house with his poo and you’re just sweeping it up! Now he’ll have to spend MORE time redecorating! lol!

The broom and the dustpan were my Yohio’s sworn enemies! He’d attack them when I was sweeping, but he’d also attack them when I wasn’t in the room, I’d just hear the broom go down with a bang. He ate the rubber rim of the dustpan, probably to teach it a lesson.

I used to sweep when they were in their cages, but I’ve noticed they get so excited the second the dustpan comes out. So I take turns everyday. One day I’ll sweep when Asriel is out, and the next I’ll sweep when Bombur is out. Asriel always tries to fling the dustpan (as the video shows), and he’ll also just sit in it and stare at me. Bombur will chase my pile of stuff around and sit in it. Of course it’s usually all hay and poos, so he spends the time munching the hay. They both also love to boop the broom, and when it crashes they scuttle about in a frenzy, and Bombur will thump. I’m like you did this to yourself!
