I’m now Tippy and Nadia’s godfather

Well Marcy tricked me again. 

 

Now, I needta stop by about once a week to check in on the lil buns and make sure they’re doing well.  I’m also now transporting Tippy to his chiropractic sessions.  I will take them both there and then give them a couple of hours of free roam time around my apartment.

I’m planning on taking videos of the first trip so y’all can see Tippy’s session as well as the cuties hoppin’ around my place.

Here are pics of Nadia (white) and Tippy (gray).  Both had breaks in their legs that healed badly.  Neither seemed to know that there was something wrong with them but Tippy degraded back in May.  Now though, thanks to his new girlfriend, Nadia, and the chiropractic appointments, he’s doing much better now.

*swallow* That wasn’t vid was expecting but good to see all the same. They really do just get on with business of being a bunny. That is great that he is doing better in the company of Nadia. Will they stay together? I really must get a credit card sorted out!

Visited saveabunny so have answered my own question – Tippy and Nadia to be homed together! Also was great to see Aurora now! And Go-Go. I saw Go-Go’s video a few months ago. Did you ever meet him Markus? He seems like a just a babe else he’s just small. Small, special and sweet!

Oh gawd!! I just love disabled bunnies! They are wayyy too cute! Markus how sweet of you to look after them like that. I’m glad to hear Tippy is doing much better, I remember before I found Chuck, some members suggested Tippy but he was too sick for adoption. I’m so happy he has a girlfriend now too!

It’s kinda funny. Nadia was always a prude with Tippy – never letting him near her. She also LOVED to snuggle with people. But when Tippy got sick, she seemed to realize it and let him cuddle up with her. Now, she’s over protective of him. Anyone who tries to take her away from him gets a full on grunt and charge – which is a little funny due to her leg. But she’s a good girlfriend.

I met Go-Go once. I hate to say it, but it is just funny watching him binky. Whenever he does, he falls over onto his back and gives the look of “Whoa, that’s not how it’s suppose to go.” and then he gets back up.

And I am still surprised with Aurora’s recovery. She was definitely a bunny that wanted to keep on living. It’s amazing how well Marcy is in tune with buns. There are some in that condition that just have given up on life and people and they just want to leave comfortably. I would have thought Aurora was such a bun when I saw her but Marcy saw beyond that. I truly hope she, as well as Ophilia find forever homes. They are both lovely ladies that could use a comfortable and loving place to spend their twilight years – not that SaveABunny doesn’t offer that.

Well I gotta go get some sleep. For some reason, I have a feeling that the two ‘cripple’ buns are going to be more spunky and harder to handle than my two terrors.

K&K, he is! A least as far as I can see from one little video. It’s like he’s one of those clowns. I know, he has a disability but you can’t help but smile at him. His spunk comes across more than the disability. Very cute!

So here’s a video that’s 6 minutes long that is Tippy’s Chiropractic Exam.  I’m sorry about the sound but my camera didn’t pick up much. The doctor says he’s doing great and that he only needs to come back once a season for a tune up.

Markus – Haha. Marcy’s good at that! She has super hero powers – one of which I call the “Marcy Spell”. Everyone is powerless to it. You find yourself saying yes, and then as you walk away, shaking your head, you think..”Wha…What just happened?”

It is so wonderful what you are doing and I can’t believe how well Tippy is doing! What a huge difference between the first and last video!

I am dropping off the terrors at her place for the holidays. She starts off the conversation with, “So, who are we going to try and bond with your pair?” Seems these days I needta go home with a rabbit everytime I visit there.

Well Maryann and Dono came back last night.  They were model borders – and I would have sworn Maryann would have led a rabbit revolt.  Funny thing is that I’ve come to know the rabbits at SaveABunny so well that I knew exactly who would have what job in the rabbit army.  Jean Harlow, Ginger Rogers and all of the other harlequin gals and guys named after 50’s stars would be the front line.  They work good as a team but I know Maryann would use them as cannon fodder.  Ophelia would be covert ops.  Dianna and Poe would make an excellent sniper/spotter team and, of course, Mr. Pinkerton (who is now available for adoption) would be at the UN saying that ‘nothing was happening’.

My best reward though was when I picked Dono up from the foster cage.  He burrowed his head into the crook of my arm and let me pet him until I had to put him in the carrier.  It is amazing how fear makes buns your best friend.
