Ok, haven’t shared about my volunteering in a while…Louise is not one of the rabbit’s who was sezied. She is at the shelter with her friend Thelma but for some reason they weren’t housed together (until two hundred rabbits moved in, now they are sharing a cage).
Louise is a gorgeous lop who is just about the most timid thing I’ve ever met. I didn’t realize she was and I brougt her to the bunny cuddle room and popped her on the ground to run around. She didn’t…So I put her in my lap for a cuddle…She put her forepaws on my chest and looked strait in my eyes then LAUNCHED into the crook of my chin, and DUG LICKED BIT DUG LICK LICK LICK NIP to try to burrow into my neck!! I put her back in my lap and let her hide her face in the crook of my elbow-she proceeded to burrow all the way into the sleeve of my jacket. She’s such a sweetie!! We’ve cuddled three times now and I plan to see her again on Saturday as I think she does need the experience. She’s quite content to be held as long as it’s firmly and she can hide her face! What a poor little sweetie!! When I was there on Wednesday I went around distributing raisins and she actually jumped to the front of the cage when she heard my voice!! I’m in love ….
