I’m happy my bunny is happy today

I have mentioned before that I feel bad that I’m not spending as much time as I once did with Holly. I sometimes worry about her because she’s a little skitish with us once again. Tonight, I have my bunny back.  She’s doing binkies and is actually playing with me instead of coming up to me and then running away.

I posted but I’ve had Rupert for longer then a year, and teaching him tricks actually was what really caused him to bond to me (me: Formally bad bunneh mommie who gives da bum baths-now-the good bunneh mommie who gives da treats!) It took a whole year for ME to learn what worked for him-but it’s so worth it when they come out of that skittish shell.

Before Zach, we saw a quirky bunny with a huge personality. When Zach came so did a lot of company. At that time, she would only take pets from me and no one else. After people left, it got better but our routine went south. We are still working on it. I’m home a whole lot more, but it is hard to focus on her. I am doing better. I’ll let her out sometimes while I’m taking care of Zach and then once he’s in bed I’ll lie on the floor. She seems to like that. She loves to race with me. I’ll run across the room and she will run after me. I never chase her! Last night my husband did it, and for the first time she ran after him. That made him feel good. Made me feel good that she was in a playful mood!
