I’m getting another bunny!!! (pictures of course)

So, I pic little Josefina up on sunday.  I’m so excited.  Her pen is up and radar’s pen has been re-arranged.  YAY!  I’ve come up with a bad case of rabbit-ADHD this week because I’m so excited.

 

Radar and little Jo started going to bunny agility together and they became buddies right away.  They run off together and groom each other and Jo sticks her head under Radar’s belly to hide from loud noises in class.  They have similar backgrounds, both were easter babies and both were mistreated by kids… Jo is a more severe case because she learned that you keep people away by biting them without warning.  She’s 99% over that and her foster mom is going to show me how to deal.  She’ll open her mouth and all you have to say is, “Josefina.” and she snaps her mouth shut and goes on her merry way. 

 

Here are some pictures… apparently she loves cats and one of the stipulations on the adoption is that we eventually get her a kitty as well as keep everyone who pulled for her updated with pictures…  Sounds good to me.

I know LL, doesn’t bunny agility sound fabulous? It sounds like the old Gymboree classes for little kids and their parents…lolz.

Can you see it now? A bunch of bunny moms and their rabbits and a parachute and climbing equipment and one of those tanks full of plastic balls! ^_^

Yah, I know, most likely not, but it gives one some interesting mental pictures. ^_^

I bet someone is biting their nails down to the quick, eh Erbear?

I’m pretty sure you’re right Mimzmum…

They’re starting another hoppy hour in Woodbury, MN… so hopefully bunny playtime will be coming to a humane society near you! The Petco over there wants to do one too but something about having free-range bunnies at a petstore doesn’t make me feel good.

She’s the one that is always exploring. And she’s home she’s home she’s home she’s home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have only had a little bit of a tussel through the cage bars… they’re both confused as to why the other one is here. She is eating some greens now and already did a zoom and binky run through her new space. I think she approves. Her foster mom was sad/happy to see her go. She had Jo for a long time and has rehabbed her very well. I’ll post more pictures soon.

Oh, congrats! I’m so glad they already like each other from Bunny Agility! I hope that makes bonding go more easily… How exciting for you!

Ummm… I learned a valuable lesson today during bonding session… wear gloves! They’re better now and we ended on about 5 minutes of peace… so we’re good. Jo is exploring a lot. And she’s a sweetheart.
