Marley finally gets a new cage!!! Me and my boyfriend are going shopping in the morning!!! We are building her an nic cage. Ive been looking at what other people have posted and think i have come up with the best idea. But there are a few things i would like some advice on!
1) Marley has never had a bed or a place to herself, like a hide a box. ive been reading that bunnies love them and were wondering what i should do. I was at the pet store and thought about getting her a cat bed that is covered. but i was affraid that she might pee on it. So then i thought maybe i could find a small cardboard box and just put some bedding inside it. What do you guys do or think?
2) Marley doesnt really have a lot of toys, mainly because her stupid store bought cage doesnt allow for much room! So i was wondering what type of things do you guys put in their cages to keep them occupied? She spends a lot of time in her cage since i work and go to school, and now that her cage is almost doubling in size shell have the room to have toys. i want her to be as happy and enriched as possible!
3) Marley seems to be an outcast when it comes to her hay in litter boxes. I started her out that way but i notice that she would pee in her hay! So pretty much all but 2 months of her life, her hay has been on the opposite end of her litter box. Which of course doesnt stay in one spot and ends up all over her cage, but when that happens she wont eat it, just whatever is on her matt. So my question is are there hay holders that i could buy to keep her cage a little neater?
