Hey everyone! Long time no posting, things have been hectic and I am six months pregnant with me and my husbands first baby … How time flies.
I’m not sure when I last posted, but we lost our precious Barney and Belle earlier this year
Belle fell asleep forever in the sunshine with Barney next to her, happy and content … She was only around 4 but had extensive problems mainly relating to being a tripod and having splay legs so we were happy to not have to help her across the bridge which we thought might occur!
Barney had to be helped over the bridge after weeks of not eating and being so depressed without his beautiful Belle bun. They are both buried side by side in the garden with a heart plaque my husband carved which says ‘barney and belle, together forever’ <3
Before Barney died, we adopted two sisters in the hope we could bond him to them and save him dying of heart break. He wasn’t remotely interested unfortunately, so Bramble and Oreo live together both spayed. We recently adopted Snowball from a rescue (accidental impulse rescue!!) who is a neutered buck.
I have never bonded a trio before, any advice is welcome!!! Snowball seems very gentle and has briefly met Oreo – there was a bit of very slow persuing but no fighting at all. Bramble is a bit fiery and I’m worried she’ll be aggressive, should I try all three together or see if Oreo and Snowball can develop a bond and hope this persuades Bramble to be nice?
Thanks
Hope you’re all well
Anna xx
