I realize it is hard to find a place to board house buns.   Therefore, I wanted to inform that I am available to board house rabbits during the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays and possibly other dates in Nov. and Dec.
I am a member here on Binky Bunny and I own two house rabbits myself, therefore I am experienced with house rabbits.

I live in Northwest Georgia.  I am a few miles north of Rome, Georgia and 15 minutes off Interstate 75 at
the Adairsville Exit / Barnsley Gardens Exit.    I am approx. one hour north of Atlanta.

I would only be able to board neutered and spayed buns  (due to spraying).

You may email me at poulosj@bellsouth.net.    (I hope it is ok to put my email address on here)

good to know! do you live nearby to an HRS chapter? the reason i ask is that my (not really that local) local chapter has a section on their site for petsitting. you might be able to put your name on there (i’m assuming you maybe need to be a member?) and you’d probably be able to get more of a response that way.

It is okay – just a not about posting your own emails: It is not against the rules or anything but anytime an email is places on a webpage, it lends itself to netbots that scan pages for web addresses to send spam to. It’s better just to have people email you via your profile.

Also note: Not to be a downer or a paranoid queen or anything here, but since I don’t have the time to verify the legitimacy of every single person on here, please still use caution when using this (or any) forum to seek boarding or find boarders, and/or any pet sitting exchange. Please be sure to use common sense and caution when dealing with complete strangers.

BinkyBunny has given very good advise.   I understand completely and agree very much with BinkyBunny.

Always check out who you are boarding your pets with.   I also strongly suggest you visit the facility prior to taking your pet and ask many questions and ask them for references.

Let me briefly explain more about myself …. but I will be brief here … as I do not want to use the forum to advertise.   I did want to list this post on Binky Bunny regarding boarding  house rabbits because I noted many were having a  hard  time finding a place to board a house rabbit.   I would like to help anyone that may happen to be in my area.

I own a pet boarding business  (5 years now).  We live in the country and board the pets here at our home.   The bottom floor of our home is set up for pet care.  My husband is retired and he helps me.   Our children are grown, therefore there are no children in our home.  I am not able to accept any new customers for dog boarding, as I stay full with my current regular customer list.   But, I am setting up a new room in my downstairs for any house rabbits that need a place to stay while their owners travel.

So neat! Bunny sitters are very hard to come by. I have inlaws who consider our buns their grandchildren so they love to be used.

I know in the past we have looked at our local HRS site for bunny sitters. I think that is the best and most well known place to look for sitters. But being a part of our BB community will definitely give you bunny points with all of us!
