I’m alive, sorta!

Sorry I’ve been AWOL for a while, all. School has just been one monstrous marathon for the past few weeks, and I’ve barely had time to feed myself, forget use the internet. But so here’s the update: I go on April break (Brandeis doesn’t do a normal “spring break;” it has two, one in February, one in April– they fall on Jewish holidays) Friday, then come back the following sudnay and have one more week of classes and then finals, thank god. (I’m so bloody ready for summer)

On the bunny front, Monty is doing *really* well since his molar spurs got filed– he actually eats hay now, the silly little bugger. His fur is glossier again, too, and he’s actually gotten more active. (Thank god, really, because my poor mommy would have lost her marbles if something had happened to her bunny…)

Humphrey is also quite well, and has *finally* started using his litterbox (okay, 90% of the time he makes it– occaisionally he’ll just sort of shuffle too far and pee right over the box) and is really getting more comfortable around me– however, this has also brought a number of *bad* behaviors, such as biting his cage when he wants something, finding ways around my fences and hiding under my bed, and… well, generally being a pain in the butt. I’m working on the cage biting (not responding to it– he needs to be a *good boy* to get attention), but I’m starting to believe perhaps the reason he’s acting up to get attention is because he’s lonely… and so…

I’m getting another bunny! I won’t be picking him/her (haven’t chosen yet, although I’m in love with a little dwarfy boy named Perry) up until summer begins, but I’m going to start bringing Humphy on dates soon. n___n So yaaay! Bunny-love! *does a “more bunnies” dance*

Anyway, I hope everyone else is havign weather as lovely as it is here right now. <3

yay! new buns are always fun. i thought you had to have mini rexes b/c of fur allergies, or am i thinking of another member? pics when you get your new bun! (and pics before that if you have time!)

Beka– I did actually have rexes because of fur allergies– but it turns out I *don’t* have rabbit allergies! I started to get suspicious when I was playing with a little fluffy guy at Petco and din’t have any reaction, and I noticed that he was in Carefresh, and then put two and two together and realized that maybe all these years I thougt I was allergic to rabbits I was reall allergic to pine shavings, which all the bunnies I knew as a small child (and had allergic reactiosn to) lived in. So I started experimenting, and… well, it seems like I don’t have bunny allergies. o___o It’s the strangest revelation! My world has been turned upsidedown.

Aha so here you are then! I just thought you felt that you were too good for us! LOL Only kidding, gosh we know all you college students are always studying, writing papers and so on. It is a big overwhelming at at times and I can gladly say that those days are over for me. So cute, you’re going to have to take some pictures for us when you can of the family and your new addition!

YAAAAY! Humphrey and Perry (the bitty dwarfy) had an *excellent* first date– there was even licking! And flopping! Perry’s foster mom e-mailed me a bunch of pics– you can see my feet in some of them. >__<
