        Hi everyone,

We have had our little Willow for 10 days now – shes just over 10 weeks old

we have a large dog pen in the kitchen for her and she free roams when we are in – however this setup cannot work long term as the pen is in the way – i’m hoping to let her have free roam of the whole downstairs when we are home and the kitchen only when we are out

I’m thinking of converting a large hol box for the kitchen like the one in the photo to be her space with a litter tray/ bed / food / water  and then also a small hol box to put in the lounge just  to hide her litter tray – what do you think?

I have always loved the look of those set ups for free-range buns! I’m too frugal to justify the price of them personally, but I love them!

I think it’s a good idea to keep a pen or crate on hand for times when you might need to confine her (such as after spaying or if needed for potty training). When she hits puberty her litter box habits might get worse until spaying, so you might end up confining her to a pen temporarily.
