To us readers we love to lie around and read read read………..  Now  from a rabbits perspective they don’t know that words are there.  They can’t read.

So what does a rabbit think when we read.   We are holding this book in front of our face and just staring at it moving a  page over every few seconds.

You know that is probably why Cotton loves to chew on them.   He trying to show me what to do with a book besides stare at it.   Like maybe I should try chewing the paper instead.  rofl…

Yeah Mum this is what you do with the thing       as he jumps upon me and starts chewing on it..

Hey guys Cotton here.  What is wrong with Mum she stars at that big paper thing in front of her face for hours.

I keep trying to show her what to do with it.  Why you eat it Mum.  OH humans…

Hmm maybe Mum doesn’t like the taste.  You think?

Oh, yes! I love laying on the floor while I read and having the buns come over Head but & nibble on my book! I have to be careful with library books – he, he, he.

I’m looking forward t the movie “The Reader” to come out on DVD and renting it. Why, you ask? Well, because my dog ate the book before I finished reading it – I still don’t know the ending!

Hahahahahahahaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so funny BT! I’ve never thought about that but you’re right. They’re probably thinking… what the heck?

Does anyone else’s bun sit about 6 inches away from a wall and star at it for 10 minutes straight?

I think the same thing when I see Max do that!

                    Tehe Beka. Maybe he’s meditating.

A little off topic….this evening Jersey did something odd. I was laying on the bed looking at her underneath it. She knew I was there and had no probs. Then after a minute or so, she made a little noise and thumped just once. She was staring out to the other side of the bed and eventually went to investigate. She moved out the room and down the hallway in a robotic manner – head forward, ears forward, super alert. I see her do this time to time when she senses something. I don’t know what set her off. I wonder what she sees sometimes…maybe a ghost! ha!

That’s great… she probably heard a bird or something!

Max is an odd rabbit all around sometimes. He zooms in the strangest way, completely different from Meadow. Meadow zooms in complete circles… circles around the room, around the coffee table, back again, but never stops running. Max zooms in a straight line. Full speed one direction for several feet. Stops short. Zooms full speed the other direction. Stops. Zooms off towards a different direction…. Stops.

The other day he was zooming out from his pen… run run run, hop over the xpen entrance… zoom straight down the hall… STOP. Turn around, repeat.

Beka, Spockie always stared at a blank wall that way. Sometimes he’d stand up on his hind legs up a blank wall.

So the first day we had Sammy home, what did she do? She stood up along a blank wall. Exactly the same way.

Maybe there’s invisible bunny writing on them. (Today’s novel that the humans can’t see is Wabbitson Cwusoe.)

That’s what I found so funny about BT’s thread here.

They probably see us with a book and are thinking, “Stupid human! What do you think you’re staring at?!”

                          “Sigh…. Humans… SOOO PRIMITIVE!”

                          *bun turns toward wall*

Haha, I’ve turned in papers before that were nibbled at school. The teachers were a little confused, but understanding.

Odie our dog used to do that too.  Just staring at the wall breathing and her head bobbing with her breathing.  Just staring at the wall…  Spar our boxer did a few times then thought Odie this is BORING staring at the wall.

So now we know some bunnies and dogs meditate.  Cool..
