I had a couple of the large plastic cat balls, that have another plastic ball inside them and Willow loves those.    But her very favorite item are my glasses!    She does everything she can to scale me so she can rip them off my face!  She even nipped me for taking them away.  (uhm I need those)     I squealed and she stopped with the nipping.   I tried clapping first, but that made her really excited and do bunny crazy running, hopping and would nose my hand till I did it again.

How about baby rings?  Think they are safe or do you think she might eat those?  I’m kinda paranoid of her eating plastic.  She so far hasn’t tried to chew on the really big plastic items she has-litterboxes, she has a big house, plastic boat that she can go inside and some other things.

So far she will occasionally nibble on the dry pear wood I had all cut up for her.  She will occasionally throw the wicker balls.  Cardboard is pretty much ignored.  Any new clothy/rug/towel type item she tries and then she is done, hasn’t punctured a hole in any thing fabric.

My bun loves throwing empty plastic flower pots around… and although she nibbles on pretty much everything else, she’s not interested in eating the pots. She grabs the rim and throws it over her shoulder as if its in her way…. so funny!
You could find one your bun’s size. With supervision you’ll soon tell if she thinks it’s a toy. Try it and see. :o)
(Re: your glasses fetish….. can she see a reflection of herself in them…? Maybe she thinks you have another rabbit sitting on your nose and wants to make friends…??!! lol)

A lot of hard, plastic baby toys are safe. My buns have an assortment of plastic toys in their condos. Keys, little plastic phone, dumbell-looking things. As long as the plastic is hard enough.

Thanks guys. Oh ya those baby keys I always see at thrift stores, great idea.

I have a bunch of old flower pots along the side of my house I’ll have to find one a suitable size and clean it to see what she thinks.

Squirrel loves his baby keys, he flings them all over the place, even though he can’t see or hear them. It’s rather funny to watch! Moose loves his slinky, too. Smudge is much to dignified to play with toys, unless you aren’t looking. Then she likes wood blocks. Monkey will throw anything you put in front of her.

I was puzzling with things I have around the house and started wondering if it’s the ease of pulling on things. Like the round balls are not as appealing, but my glasses are.

So I took a piece of pear wood that my husband had drilled holes in and strung sisal up one side and hemp string up the other. This gives things to grab.

She’s been dragging that around, so I think I got a hit.

Stumbled across this one today, which has worked well with the boys and they tend to try to eat most things.. Using a tub lid (like a celebrations or chocolates tin) and putting some nibbles or treats so they’re in crevices around the sides so they have to throw it or tip it to try and get them out..

I’m constantly looking for boredom breakers as they bore quickly of everything and then go back to making a racket when I’m sure people are trying to sleep..
