Petie tonight has a new 8 foot square x-pen – all to himself. He did a mini-binkie when he was zooming around the circumference. It has a walk-in door so I can walk in and sit with him, get a little better acquainted. He still does the running in place while my hands encircle him, but he’s been sniffing me out and munches treats from my fingers so we’re part of the way there. And he loves red leaf lettuce (in the pic), pellets, cilantro, carrot, APD pumpkin pie cookies, timothy hay and diced papaya bit. Below is his pen, Petie is on the other side of his mini-haven. He’s a ball of energy, very inquisitive and outgoing. I’m so happy he and Dustor are healthy, happy and have their own x-pens!! Here’s little chubby cheeks tackling a red lettuce leaf

Actually, the only changes are Petie’s hammock, another litterbox in the right corner, and I moved his hay rack to just inside the gate. Petie just exited his litterbox and is nudging his tunnel so he can come through beside it. I figure he needs plenty diversions to keep him from being bored.
