My sweet Holland Lop Archie passed on Easter this year. She was only 1 1/2. We don’t know why, we just woke up and she was….dead. Archie’s little sister, Daisy, misses her everyday, as do I. Archie, you will be remembered forever.

Oh that’s horrible! I hope that this will give you a bit consolation though. If you didn’t notice any outward signs of illness or changes in behaviour, it probably was something quick and painless like a heart attack or a stroke. These are common in rabbits.

          Binky free, sweet Archie!

How is Daisy doing at this moment by the way? Rabbits who’ve lost their bonded partner can grieve intensely. They often benefit from meeting a new rabbit: having rabbit company again perks them up. If you and your family are ready for it, consider letting her date again.

Daisy seems fine. Me and my family have been spending a lot more time with her so she doeant get lonely. When Arch was alive, she wanted nothing to do with us, but now we are best friends:)
