Ha,ha…You may be starting a new craze – window seats for bunnies! I think its a great idea? After all, why should cats have all the window seats…

Right when I turned the camera on Mocha ran down the ramp. sily bun!

                    Lulu: ” sniff… sniff…sniff… Dis smells funny”

Mocha: “hmmm. Should I go up?” ( Sorry its so blurry, the camera wasn’t focusing.)

Edit: I covered the the top of the window seat with a fleece blanket but I left the sides open for some air, I left a fan on to so it wouldn’t get stuffy, I also put an ice block on under neath the blanket. Our house was really hot today because we had a fire on.

Love the video. Your buns are so cute. We have a window seat in our bedroom where Desmond is. I think I’ll copy your idea and add a ramp so he can enjoy the view.

Haha. Yeah I love building things. Ever sense I was little I have been building things out of cardboard and whatever else I could find. My Mom loves the window seat too! She thinks its a good idea for our cats sense they can’t go out side in the winter they love looking out the window.

Ever sense I have made this mocha has been kinda scared poor boy! normally its Lulu. Mocha is really liking the dog kennel and even left me a mess to clean up I am not for sure it was him but I think it was his poos next to it. LOL. I forgot to add the litter box in the kennel.

It will take him some time to appreciate the window look-out. Neigey was like that when I built them the window yard. He hid for a while.

Yeah. I am really surprised that they like the kennel so much. I am glad I ended up opening the door.

Now I am thinking ” hmmm…. I wonder how hard it will be to clean all that.” haha. but I like it.

Yes, more work for you! That’s the way it goes, you give them more stuff — and you get more work… ugh! but it’s fun~

Great work! I’ve been thinking of ways to make a window seat for my bunny Larry since his pen sits under the window. This sets the bunny side of my brain a workin’!

yeah. I got the idea from Kokaneeandkahlua when she posted her set up in the ” Show off your bunny mess!” forum.

Great idea as long as your parents won’t get mad if they decide to chew the woodwork around the window!

Mocha, you can just bunny-proof the window frame with another grid, like the one you already have up there. Just to be safe. The window looks new so you don’t want to chance it being nibbled. If they wanted to nibble through the grid because their mouths might fit through, you can line the back of the grids that touch the wooodwork with some carboard pieces.

I ran out of grids ( I left some up north at our other house) so I will have to find something else to block it…. I didn’t even really think about them chewing, Thanks!
