Hey guys, I just joined this forum and am so grateful for this bunny loving community. I have a male Holland lip named nugget and he is around ten weeks old. So anyways- I love him with all of my heart and absolutely adore petting him. It helps me with my anxiety and Nugget seems to enjoy it as well. Occasionally, I’ll put a treat in front of his face and lead him into my stomach when I’m lying down on my back. Once he is on my stomach, I feed him the treat. I was wondering if there would be any way that one day he would flop on my stomach? XD he flops in his hutch and on the floor and let’s me pet him pretty much forever until I stop. Would it be possible for him to flop on my stomach so I could just stay on my back and stoke him? I’m a new bunny owner so I’m sorry if this comes across as ignorant, I was just wondering if any of your little fluffballs allow you to snuggle them, and if so, how did you do it?

I don’t know if he would flop ON you, but when you have a close bond he might flop near you for comfort! Louie sometimes flops near me and just kinda sleeps.

Awwww I totally wish Wilbur would do that too! He is super snuggly though and always wants to be pet. Whenever I lay on my side on the floor he always lays down against my stomach to be pet. Sadly he hates being picked up and never hops on me be he will lay right next to me!

He might, but I think it’s more likely that he would flop next to you like Louie said. Bunnies like to flop pretty dramatically, so I think  they probably prefer to do it on solid ground. 😉

I’ve seen people clicker train their bunnies to flop! So not sure if he would do it on you and stay there, but it seems like it would be possible with clicker training. 🙂   If you search on youtube there are compilations of people doing clicker training tricks with their buns.
