I hope BB does not mind this here, it is not bunny related, but might help someone else, I was waiting for the bus and a man asked me what school I went to, I’m 40 years old, (I don’t look 40) I just said. “School?” Then he started talking about things he shouldn’t have, then I noticed he was trying to touch my leg, I just looked at him and thought if he did touch my leg I would hit him not too hard with my walking stick, the bus arrived and the man got on and showed his Bus pass to the driver, I was trying to find my card, the man said I could sit next to him, I told the driver I did not know the man and what he said and tried to do, the driver got out of his seat and went and took the man off the bus, no way was I going to sit next to the man, I just want to say with what he said and tried to do if I was a school girl I would have been scared, but I want to say there are people who can help, like that bus driver, let an adult know like mum or dad, I get this trouble sometimes so I have had to learn how to protect myself, you can protect yourself and others too by telling a grown up or a policeman or lady, a school teacher, or a bus driver like I did, if you don’t that person might think they can get away with it and might one day badly hurt someone, tell someone before its too late.

this is very important, and may i say, he though you were a school girl! you must look young! tell me whats your secret . anyway. that was very inaproprate and people like him deserve jail.  that bus driver was kind. your lucky

That’s scary. I take public transit too and (not very nice) people seem to think a female alone on public transit is fair game. I am an adult and don’t look school age at all and people will still sometimes be jerks. If I feel uncomfortable, I sit as close to the driver as possible. But that’s not always possible. I agree– always let an adult or someone in authority know. And never feel frightened to speak up.
