It is a good thing for me that Kay is such a gentle little girl.

This morning it is nice and cool out, which of course, equles crazy bunnys. So, They were both running around playing.

Kay came over for some pets. Not to be left out – Winston come over for some pets. Kay then took off.

I’m still petting Winston -  and next thing I know I get a “little bunny head butt” and then a little nibble on my bum from Kay

I’m not sure if it was “Hey, that is my man!” ,  “Hellow, you should be petting me!”

Or if I just had something on my PJ’s But, it was actually pretty funny!

I few people have mentioned being bitten there now I think of it.

You should run a poll in the lounge to see how many have been bitten on the bum by a bun!

Layla bit me on the bum this week when I was cleaning the cage. I left the door open so she could free range while I was cleaning but apparently she still took offence and the little dear decided to chomp. The next time I cleaned her cage I locked her out.

                    Sagecat-

I have been busy this summer- so have not been on here a lot lately.  But your story really made me smile…I remember when you first got them and how shy they were at first.  Sounds like they have settled in great and there is a lot of human/bunny bonding going on.

One thing that I think you mentioned before- your buns were in the pantry or kitchen area at first- and you noticed that they disliked the smell of cooking and meat.  I have really noticed that with my bunny too- if we have her upstairs when we are cooking she looks very disapproving- especially if there is any meat involved.

What an awesome thing you did- adopting 2 adults bunnies and providing them with such a loving home!

                    Julie

                      Thanks Julie!

J and I are still constantly amazed how much fun they are to have around.

They were at the shelter for a while because they were such a shy couple – not any more!!!
