  Hi I live in Gateshead Tyne & Wear & was wondering if anyone could reccommend a Rabbit savvy or rabbit friendly vet in my area. My current vet who is treating one of my bunnies “Dave” for head tilt does not seem at all sure what to try next and keeps talking about euthanasia. Dave is eating, grooming himself and his companion Bette and is fighting his illness it is just unfortunate that my vet wants to give up so easily. We tried 10 day course of oral baytrill and 28 day course of panacur. My vet refused to give me any more anti biotics after the 10 days & didnt examine my bunnies ears until our 3rd visit and found a lot of pus & debris, After asking her again to try some other anti biotic she agreed.. Dave has just been for his third weekly injection of depocillin and the vet says there is not much more she can do for him, I know there are different anti biotics we could try and all the research I have done states treatment has to be intensive and long, possibly months. Please can someone help me and recommend a more experienced rabbit vet in the Gateshead area, I thank you.
