        Hello all!

Ok, I just discovered an odd behavior and thought I’d ask.  She’s in her exercise pen right now… and alot of times she’ll follow me around and put her paws up on the sides and try to get my attention while I walk around.  I just reached in to pet her and she wrapped her front arms around my arm and started something that looked like humping.  And I know that bunnies hump stuff but I didn’t expect her to do that to my arm.  The first time she did it, I swung her up in my arms and started petting her and she was fine.  So I was wondering if she was humping or was she trying to like… climb up my arm or something??  I don’t know lol and was just wondering if anyone has had experience with this.  And if she was humping my arm, is there anything I can do to stop her from doing it to me?  Because it hurt lol!  She’s got some pretty sharp claws haha.

Also, a little sidenote… What do ya’ll do about territorial pooping?

Thanks so much and any tips would be appreciated!!

No doubt some of the others have experienced it and been suitably shocked - lol.  If she isn’t spayed, very likely her hormones are behind this. I remember one of the members here posting a pic of her girl attached to the leg of her jeans before she had her spayed.

Sarita – is that Pepe (your agouti) as you avatar?

Samantha was spayed at 5 months and I highly recommend it for both behavioral and health reasons.

She never did that, but my former male, Spockie, “Adored” my ankles. I couldn’t wear shorts.

She isn’t spayed yet… I rescued her last weekend and right now I’m spending money on a NIC condo… next purchase is a spay. I’m definitely planning on spaying her. I worked at a Humane Society for 3 years so if I didn’t I would be quite disappointed in myself lol. And from what my friend knew (not much) she’s probably around 8 months… Thanks for the help guys!
